Are you a cycle tourer? If so, what's the funniest, most interesting, worst experience you've had touring.?
My funniest experience was finding a btl of milk and bag of sandwiches at my tent door, left by a little old lady in a beat up car, who thought she'd help out the homeless guy.
Worst was 4 flats in 5 miles, and having to hitch into town. That was early in my cycling career before I knew much.
I was touring in China and by far the funniest thing I saw was an old man and his friend somehow hoisting a full sized refrigerator onto his bike, roping it down and riding off with his friend sitting on the top of the fridge! Before I could get my camera they were long gone down one of a million tiny streets.
Worst experience was when I was fully loaded and going downhill with a 6% grade and hit a squirrel. I somehow stayed upright and moving, but I was completely covered by the "squirrel juice". A shower was too many miles away so I used my packed clothing to clean up. I think my stuff still smells like dead rat.
