tank bags Is it possible to cycle a fish tank using fish food tea bags?
I'm planning to make teabags that will contain fish food as a source of ammonia for aquarium cycling will this work? my tank is 35G, this idea came to me coz I was actually thinking of fishless cycling using raw shrimp, so to lessen the stink I was thinking if I could use fish food instead. feel free to comment guys thanks for the answers
Well, there isn't much that can go wrong. No fish are in the tank, so if you get too much ammonia then take the bag out. If you dont get enough, you can add some more or try something different.
You have nothing to loose apart from a week of your time and you might have invented the next big thing in cycling.
