How To Put In A Braid In Tail Bag?
I bought a braid in tail bag for my horse. It came in and I was a little disappointed and confused. First off.. it's super long. I managed to get all three tubes filled with three stands of hair and then braid it, but a lot of it was dragging on the ground so I had to tie halfway up twice. Also, it fell off his tail within 2 days even though I knotted it thru the braid. Even so, the finished project looked horrible. anyone care to explain how to correctly put a braid-in-tail bag on a horse?

how do i put a tail bag on my horse?
the tail bag i hav has velcro instead of tying it up and its rlly confusing...... does anyone no how they work?
if its like one i think your talking about you braid the tail and than put the band with the velcro attached to the end through one of the braided strands (in between the braid) if that makes sense haha
Not sure about the tail bag but I will say that brushing her tail less will help with growth. I always had trouble with Buttercup's tail not being long and lush but now that I am away and my parents are messing with it a lot less it has filled out and lengthened quite nicely. It's by no means lush and flowing like a Vanner Horse but it's a respectable appy tail

Molly has had very, very minimal care in the last 4 years. If brushing her tail less was the answer, she should have the most gorgeous tail ever! Only, her's sucks. It's brittle, dry and overall nasty. I'm very glad Buttercup's tail is nicer though! Maybe it's something she's getting in her feed? Molly was pasture only during those 4 years, no grain.
