luggage Set I need help deciding which luggage to buy, mainly for the carry on piece.?
I am looking at a luggage set that has a 28, 24 and 19 inch suitcase. Will the 19 inch suitcase qualify for carry on luggage?
Most 19 inchers will. Most airlines allow 45 total inches(Length+width+depth). Try to get something light as many international airlines have ridiculous weight limits on carry ons. Lufthansa allows you 8kg.(17.6 pounds). Many 19 inch suitcases weigh half that, doesn't leave a lot for clothes.

What is the best traveling luggage ?
I plan on traveling quite a bit, and need new a reliable luggage set. Right now I am looking at some stuff from American Tourister, but I'm not sure if this is a reliable brand. Any suggestions on what luggage is best?
go cheap!! and lightweight! The "hard" material cases seem to get busted up quicker than the "softside". Am. Tourister is not too expensive but stay away from the huge bags. Better to have a couple lighter weight...even duffle bags hold alot and can be sturdy enough for things that won't break, and you can carry those on if you are bordering on overweight charges! Remember you can always buy another while you're traveling, as well as things to wear...much easier than packing too much! Have fun and be safe! If you tend to purchase things you don't need on your trip but just "want"...mail them to yourself or your Mom.
