saddlebags Yamaha Yamaha R6 add ons, what should I buy?
I have a 2001 Yamaha r6 and as you can see in the pictures it's kinda beat up, but runs great. I wanted to get an opinion from everybody of what I should buy to up grade my bike, or better yet what would you do with $500 to upgrade the bike to make it either run better, become more fuel efficient and/or look better? I don't know much about bikes, but it tend to buy stuff that are more functional; like saddlebags, which I've already bought. It has new tires and a new chain.
Best bang for buck in terms of performance and sound would be a slip-on exhaust. Or you could get a power commander and work on mapping/tuning... but that isn't as easy as bolting on a new pipe. Good luck!

Where can I get saddlebags for a Yamaha Virago 250?
Try JC Whitney. It's a catalog operation, now online. Can get discontinued stuff really cheap. Should be able to find some bags to fit.
