Best way to lose small "saddlebags" in five weeks??
I've been on a very strict diet and workout routine for just over three months now, and I've seen great results! However, while my entire body looks bikini ready, I have these saddlebags that just seem to want to stay! Im going on vacation Aug. 15th and I've got to get rid of them. Please help!
Btw, currently, I do weights for 30 min. ea. day six days a week, and high intensity cardio for 40-45 min. six days a week. My diet is around 1200-1500 cal. a day, consisting of lots of fresh veggies, lean meats and fish, some fruit and nuts, Muscle Milk Light once or twice a day. Thanks again!
Paint some of the rooms where you live. Spend two to three hours a day at it. The constant bending and reaching does wonders for me.

Saddlebags and Cellulite?
I'm not fat, but I have a ridiculous amount of cellulite on my butt and saddlebags on the side of my thighs.
I've read in an article that these lumps of ugly will progressively worsen with age.
I'm only 17, yet at this age when I should be hanging out at the beach with a bikini on, shamelessly flaunting my great assets, instead I'm hiding at home feeling ashamed.
Some articles say exercise helps. Some articles say that nothing helps. Which do I believe?
I want to know the truth; do I or do I not have hope in getting rid of my bottom-half fats? And most importantly HOW?
PS: I know I should love myself for who I am and what not... everybody tends to give me that same advice. But I'll be frank right now - I don't WANT to love the person I am right now. I don't want to accept my fats and just let it flop around till it overloads. I want to change and be better than this.

Cellulite is basically trapped fat cells that are all stuck together,
which gives it that orange peel kinda look. It is mostly genetic.
You can get rid of cellulite though with a lot of work.
I used to have a lot of cellulite on my thighs and butt, too.
If you are not overweight then the most important thing to do is to weight train and gain lean muscle mass. Gaining lean muscle mass and getting toned will seriously decrease cellulite like mad.
The most basic things that you can do to tone your butt and outer thighs are squats, lunges, donkey kicks and leg raises. If you can, seriously consider getting some ankle weights (20 lb to start) or getting a gym membership so that you can use the weights there. The more weight that you use, the more cellulite you will reduce.
Also, change up your diet. No, not dieting to lose weight, but dieting to lose cellulite. Drink TONS of water, as much as you can. I drank about a gallon a day when I was working to get rid of my cellulite. Put some lemon or lime slices in there if you don't like the taste of plain water.
AVOID processed foods of all kinds, junk foods, candies, sodas and anything white (potatoes, white bread, white pastas). Eat lots of salads, vegetables (especially the kinds with lots of water in them, like cucumbers), some fruits (not to much, because it just turns to sugar),
and lean meats like chicken and turkey.
This is a really important tip. MAKE SURE to drink lots of green tea.
Get some without the calories. Green tea is amazing for reducing cellulite.
Try to drink 6 to 8 glasses a day for the full effect or consider taking a green tea supplement.
Another thing that helps is tanning. Darker skin tends to hide cellulite better than pale skin. Be careful if you go sun bathing though, 10 - 15 mins a day is enough to hide the cellulite without damaging your skin.
Also try investing in a lotion that will plump and tone the surface of your skin, hiding cellulite. Nivea's Good Bye Cellulite gel cream works really well and so do the patches and pills that come with it.
You can also get some sand or the Lush sandstone bar and scrub it on your butt and thighs where you have cellulite. Seriously, this is a Brazilian trick to get rid of cellulite. Coffee beans also work because of the caffine.
The last thing that I can suggest is maybe getting some body wraps or making your own at home.

Body wraps and cellulite massage are also good for reducing cellulite.
I did all of this for about a month and my cellulite was seriously like almost gone, and I used to have a lot.

Any answer to the "new bike" question is an opinion. Riding a motorcycle will initially involve using muscles you probably haven't used before and a VTX1300 is a big bike. Even if you are a big guy, start out with something smaller, maybe a Honda Shadow Spirit 750 or Kawasaki Custom 900.
Here's why? As I mentioned, the act of driving a motorcycle involves new muscles and many new skills. The large VTX1300 will put you at a disadvantage. Second, most newbies drop the bike in the driveway/parking lot. Its seems to be a rite of passage. Third, the smaller bike will be less of an investment. If you don't like riding or find it doesn't fit your lifestyle, less money was involved. If you decide to move to a larger bike, there's a huge market of new riders waiting to buy that first bike from you as their first bike. Good Luck and wear your gear!
On one hand you have people telling new riders that they will soon outgrow a Ninja 250 and to start with a 600 sportbike that will run circles around a lumberin VTX1300. Here you have people saying your choice of ride is too big and powerful.
It is considerably more than you need, unless you plan on towing a trailer with it.
Another choice, in the same style complete with shaft drive, would be the Suzuki C50T — 800cc versus the 1300cc Honda, both within a fraction of an inch the same dimensions, both shafties, the Suzi is 100 pounds lighter and $2,400 less expensive.
Too much? Only time will tell. Idiot at work started riding on a 1,600cc Dyna — he did fine.
You might want to take the MSF Basic Rider Course so that you have *some* riding experience when you pick up your bike at the dealer. Will also give you an idea of what you are getting into — the VTX1300 is more than double the mass of the bikes in the MSF class. After taking the course you might reconsider your purchase plans.
