i'd like to make a saddle bag for my friend- is there a way to that?
my friend and i are really into horseback riding. the rats at the stable ate her saddle bag so we haven't been able to go on the picnic we've wanted to. i'd really like to give her a saddle bag either for christmas or her birthday in january. saddle bags are a bit pricy and i prefer to make my gifts anyway. is there a way to make a usable saddle bag?
Try find some used ones or go to the store that sells them and look over the ready made ones. Se how they are made.
If you're wanting to use leather, go to the leather store, Tandy comes to mind, if they're still in business. You could buy all the leather and leather working tools you might need. Then punch all the necessary holes and lace them together.
Otherwise you'll need a sewing machine capable of sewing leather.
Tandy used to offer leather working classes for free, but otherwise they or any other leather working store would give you all the information you might need.

I’ve been reading the rules. I like the rules. I have only minor complaints. 1) I have mtb pedal on my road bike because I have a badass set of mtb pedals and zero road pedals that I can use with my current road shoes (i.e., they’re not SPD-R compatible). 2) Family does come first. The only men who make claims otherwise do not have families. Or, alternatively, the only men who make claims otherwise are shitty fathers to their children. There I said it. I’ve been going out pre-dawn so I can be back to make waffles for my daughters when they wake up. That’s what I do. I am harder than you. 3) Shaving your legs when you’re a fat, useless, topped-out-at-Cat-4, 40 year old third year law student is substantially more pathetic (i.e., lamer) than anything on the entire list. I shall not shave. And, I shall not suffer complaint regarding my choice of action. 4) Saddle bags are appropriate on a road bike when one has all three pockets stuffed with either, a) clothes, b) food, c) clothes and food. 5) My preferred choice of pump, for both road and mountain biking applications, is a Zefal road pump mounted below the top-tube with one black velcro strap. CO2 cannisters are appropriate only in MTB racing. The use of CO2 to inflate a tire on a training ride is for the weak. If you cannot handle inflating your tires like a man, the only acceptable alternative is to utilize the system.
I got Zippy the three headed Dragon! I’m pleased with a pet that can fly next to my big black motorcycle when I’m flyin down these winding country roads.That way I still have room in my saddle bags for my fancy hand bag and fur coat-just in case I get cold.

MMMMM, I am getting great enjoyment from your blog. I am obviously upsetting a few of you. I have become a bit of an iconic figure it seems. Can't you find some Ren and Stimpy re-runs, I much prefer them. Yeah me and my Road King, pounding the bitumen. I do get pulled up alot though, the cops seem to think the bike is stolen when they see the black fella cruising. I get a whole carton of VB in the left saddle bag, and plenty of clothes in the right. Happy Fucken days, cruising the highways, counter lunches, loose ladies that looooove Harleys. Im on fire. And when I get home I get the chance to just annoy you CUNTS.
It's pretty simple really, if you're looking to lose fat you have to burn it off. You don't have to go to a gym, just do anything that gets you working and burning calories whether it be running in the neighborhood or just dancing around in your place listening to music. Also, make sure to eat in a healthy manner or you will negate a lot of the positives you are doing. Final ingredients = patience and consistency.
