Leather Saddle Bagsaddle bag

how do i fix a broken strap on a christian dior saddle bag?
i'm looking for a creative way to fix my bag, if you are fimiliar with the saddle bag strap it is connected to the bad by a C and D, the metal has broken leaving C detached from the D. I've tried wireing it together, but it falls apart, same with fishing wire. I've tried very heavy apoxy, and that didnt work either, i dont think welding will either. it's a knock off so taking it in to a store isnt an option either. if you have any other suggestions, please let me know. I love this bag and am determined to fix it.

Find a place that repairs shoes and they may be able to help, also the cleaners, better yet, try one of the rings you use on your keys, they come in different sizes and are very strong. I would love to know if it works.

Saddle bags are typical to pears, but I have seen other shapes with small, insignificant saddle bags as well – however, these are accentuated (even if they don’t really exist) because of certain clothes.

there is nothing more depressing than a comedian who ain't funny.
I’ve driven from Los Angeles to Portland several times. Here’s what I’d do: I-5 is the fastest, but sucks in terms of scenery from Portland all the way to Mexico. Be prepared with snow chains for the car if you take I-5 because you might hit snow at the OR/CA border and through the Mt. Shasta area. Going down (I assume you’ll take I-5 if you’re coming from Portland), split off from I-5 onto Highway 199 at Grant’s Pass, OR. This will bring you into Humboldt County, CA and past Jedediah Smith State Park, site of some of the last old growth redwoods in the world. 199 is at parts steep, curvy, and somewhat treacherous in the rain, so be careful. 199 will join up with the 101 at Crescent City, CA, and continue through to Eureka. Be sure to stop and take a picture at “Trees of Mystery” with giant Paul Bunyan and his blue ox’s huge balls, and take Avenue of the Giants. Eureka is also the last major city for about 6 hours, so stock up on provisions/food/gas here. Pacific Coast Highway/Highway 1 splits off from the 101 about 1/3 of the way between Eureka and San Francisco. This segment (plus Highway 1 through Big Sur down to San Luis Obispo, 4 hours or so below SF) is probably one of the most beautiful roads you will ever see, but takes significantly longer than the 101/5. Your call. Back up, I’d go sideways from San Francisco about 4 hours and hit up Yosemite. Yeah, it’s a drive. Suck it up, because you’ll hate yourself if you miss it. If you can’t get into a camping spot at Yosemite, Saddlebag Lake is an hour away and also beautiful, and its 20 lakes basin is one of my favorite hiking routes (check to see if Tioga Pass is open first, and bring snow chains for the car). You can backtrack and take I-5 back to Seattle from there.
Love the saddle bags.

Personaly I think you need to just be HAPPY with your self "your beautiful the way you are" and dont let anyone tell you different…Keep your head held high…Good Luck!
Yoga is great for overall body toning. Other than that, look up ab exercises, and leg exercises. There are various moves you can do, with and without weights, standing and lying down, that will help tone up your midsection, and each area of your legs (different exercises focus on different muscle groups).
If you are interested in an at-home workout program, I LOVE P90X but it also puts a lot of focus on chest and back, and cardio (all over fat burning) and not just legs and abs. However, I have seen the individual P90X DVDs for sale on eBay so you could always purchase just Ab RipperX and Legs & Back if you didn't want the entire set (the whole program is 12 workout DVDs).
Youtube also has some workout videos you might look into…for abs, legs, and other parts of the body. I think watching a video (even if a short one) will help you know if your form is correct for whatever moves you are wanting to do. Bad form can not only be ineffective but lead to injury or strain.
Good luck!

Hi World! Get ready to hear a lot about my passion (okay, addiction)–horses and more specifically–horseback trail riding! I am the owner of four horses (we say 3 and 1/4 usually because one is Abby, our 17 year old Shetland pony–and she is about the quarter of the size of the others) and a totally addicted trail rider, horse camper and amateur packer. I am the owner as well of an online store, http://www.MontanaMountainHorse.com, where we sell trail riding equipment including saddles, tack and saddlebags, horse camping gear, horse/mule packing gear and some extra hunting, fishing and camping gear for those outdoor adventures with your horse. I'll keep you up to date on the trails I hit this summer and fall in the Bighorn Mountains here in Buffalo, Wyoming. Hopefully, I'll have a few rides in neighboring Montana and South Dakota as well. Would love to hear from other horse recreation enthusiasts!
The VTX 1300 is a great touring bike. It is an insane choice for a first bike unless of course you are 6'-12" tall and weigh 300lbs then yes it will be quite manageable. Do yourself a favor and find a smaller standard type bike to get at least one season under your belt before buying the road going queen mary you want. your female friend is wise. Listen to her instead. 1300cc first bike, sheesh
This is the most hilarious thing I´ve read in awhile, you´re really MI? Thanks for proving that old saying about MI being an oxymoron once again.
Street Gangs and Prisons in Germany and Denmark? The most dangerous gang here are the Hells Angels, I don´t see many of them with a Koran in the saddlebags of their bikes, but you know how tough the streets of Germany and Denmark are.
Albania, ranked by Newsweek as 57 of the best 100 countries in the world, is really a violent Jihadi sleeper cell with a vicious persecution of religious minorities, thanks for shedding light on that.
And Turkey, you know you´re not allowed to drink in Turkey right? Serefe!
Hi Albert – thanks for commenting. I'll bet you got caught in some of the cloudy weather that I saw up around the peaks. On Saturday I was near North Peak above Saddlebag Lake and it was quite cloudy. Later it clearer below the peak, but the clouds remained there much later in the day. I was an Conway (and Mono, though not for photos) on Sunday and it was mostly clear. You are right – you do win some and lose some…
The week before I caught some beautiful light at Bishop Creek – though I had to be patient and wait for it sometimes – but by Sunday afternoon it was raining!]]>
