Anyone have address or phone # for the actual Billy Cook Saddle Company-can only get links to retail sites?
Have a Billy Cook Western saddle that is missing the 2 front silver plates and I need to contact the actual Billy Cook company to make sure they match the rest of the silver on the saddle--would appreciate any information-tried billycook.com and billycooksaddles.com but only led me to links to retail sites---thank you!

Saddle Bronc Match
Trail saddles don't work like barrel saddles. Don't buy anything but a barrel saddle.
You can have a saddle-fitter out to your house (or wherever your horse is) to fit the saddle.
My friend barrel races very competitively in a trail saddle. She had a barrel saddle but it didn't fit her horse, and she found a nice, cheap trail saddle that fit him and it works great.
It'll make your stirrups "sticky". I only went through 3 rolls of VetWrap last summer, and at $1.50 each, it's pretty cheap. 
You could get a seat cushion, the fleece ones aren't slippery at all and allowed where I show. Also, my stirrups were a little slippery, an easy fix is to wrap them in VetWrap. My stirrups are wrapped – it's also fun because you can get a color to match the rest of your tack or saddle pad.
The saddle in the picture would work for barrel racing in my opinion.
