Me and 3 friends are driving route 66 in june and want to know what is the best car to hire?
We are looking for the car with the most luggage space, mpg, and comfort. The cars on offer to us are a Dodge Charger, Chevrolet Cobalt/Monte Carlo/Impala, Chrysler Sebring, Saturn Vue, Pontiac G6 and a Chrysler 300 Tourer. As we are all British we have no idea what any of these cars are like! I have seen pictures but would appreciate some first hand knowledge. The Chrysler 300 looks very luxurious but would that make it a target for car jackers/thieves? Any views would be much appreciated.
None of those cars is particularly fancy. Out of them, I would agree that the Chrysler 300 is the best.
You might want to consider a minivan. It's not a sexy car but it would be most comfortable for 4 lads to stretch out in as they travel the country.
