luggage Mounting Could a Hayabusa motor (1300cc) fit in a Fiat x1/9 without any body/frame modifications, besides motor mounts?
I was wondering if a Hayabusa 1300 cc motor could fit in a Fiat X1/9? I was wanting to make this a project. I figured I'd need to get custom motor mounts, but I was curious if this could be done
Anyone with X1/9 knowledge, I plan on taking out the rear luggage compartment, making it and the original engine compartment into one bigger engine compartment.
You need to locate the gearbox for the hayabusa engine... the engine you can mount either the side of the driver or the back compartment.. I evr saw a guy transplant it on a Smart for two car... Try search that video on youtube.. good luck...
