  3. "You'll Be There"
    –George Strait

  4. George Straight
    You'll Be There

Hope is an anchor, and love is a ship
Time is the ocean and life is a trip
You don't know where you're going
Til you know where you're at
And if you can't read the stars
Well you better have a map
    A compass and a conscience
so you don't get lost at sea
Around some lonely island, no one wants to be

    >From the beginning of creation, I think our maker had plan
For us to leave these shores and sail beyond the sand
And let the good light guide to the waves and the wind
To the beaches and a world where have never been
And we'll climb upon a mountain, y'all we'll let our voices ring
Those who've never tried they'll be the first to sing

    CHORUS:
    Woah My My
I'll see you on the other side
    If I make it
And it might be a long hard ride
    But I'm gonna take it
Sometimes it seems I don't have a prayer
Let the weather take me anywhere
But I know I wanna go
    Where the streets are gold
    Cause you'll be there

    Oh my my

You don't bring nothing with you here
And you can't take nothing back
I ain't never seen a hearse, with a luggage rack
So I've torn my knees from praying
Scarred my back from falling down
Spent so much time flying high, til I'm face first in the ground
So if you're up there watching me, can you talk to God and say,
Tell him I might need a hand to see a boat someday

    Repeat Chorus

    Cause you'll be there

    Oh my my

  5. Joshua Skolnick says:

Metra commuter rail in Chicago permits regular full size bikes on all of its non-rush hour trains. There are open seating areas that allow enough room for 2 or three bikes per railcar. You can bring folding bikes on all of the trains, including rush hour, as long as they fit into the luggage racks or in front of you in the seat. Some of these folding bikes expand to a full-frame bike with full size tires when expanded. I cannot see why it would be difficult to accommodate bikes on Amtrak trains, since their cars are generally roomier than Metra cars.

  6. Haley says:

Great start to the blog- I've got you bookmarked! Really like the table. My old suitcases are just stacked and now I'm thinking they may need legs too! I've read that the table height should be the same as the arm of the sofa/chair. Would it be easier to cut off the bottom of the legs instead of the top with the screw in it? Or would that look funny? Also liked the metal leg idea. I thought I was going to copy an idea I found in a magazine (of course) and use metal pipes for legs, but Dad and I checked em out at Lowe's and it was more costly than I thought. I have seen metal luggage racks at flea markets and such that might emulate the look of the chair legs you like- or would that be too literal- suitcase on a luggage rack instead of suitcase table? Just some thoughts, but the table looks great as is!!
