Left saddle Whose left in "Real Chance at Love: Back in the Saddle" and who left in the last episode?
It was the episode w/ the winery. Was it Flirty? I get her confused w/ Sassy and Classy (they both left already though, right?). By the way, is anyone wondering why they are keeping around Baker and Mamaceeta? Baker looks like a man! And Mamaceeta looks cross-eyed but she is funny. I think they like her because she's umm... rather curvy (I guess that's a good way to put it). I have a feeling that Doll will win for sure but who will Chance pick?
Chance got rid of Flirty and Real got rid of Classy (Classy is the boring one lol)..And I have no idea why Baker is still there, she looks like she should be in an ironman competition! lol..I like Mamacita but she's immature but hey so is Chance so they make a good couple! I think Real is picking Sassy and Chance Mamacita or Hot Wings.

Which is better to train a horse, left mounting or right mounting and why?
I am training my horse with a saddle and was wondering which is better to train him on, right or left mounting. I was thinking of teaching him both. And my horse is not throughbreed and will never be in a show arena.
The tradition of mounting from the left dates back to the time when warriors carried swords on horseback. Since most people were and are right-handed, the sword was carried on the left hip to enable them to draw it quickly.
Horses were mounted from the left so that the right leg could swing up over their back without the sword getting in the way. Mounting from the right would be difficult, as the sword would get in the way of swinging the leg up, and might poke the horse.
So it really is nothing more than tradition. We mount from the left because we've been taught to. Mounting from the left resulted in tack that was designed to be buckled, cinched, or fastened from the left-- most halters, bridles, and saddles are left-sided.
It's actually a good idea to teach your horse to accept everything from the right side as well. Xenophon-- an ancient Greek general who wrote the first book on horsemanship-- wrote that it was good to practice mounting from the right in case of an emergency. Today it's a good idea because it will teach your horse to be balanced and accept things from both sides.
It can also help to reduce strain on their shoulder. Xenophon didn't use stirrups (they hadn't been invented yet), but we do, and when we mount it pulls the saddle over the horse's side. Mounting from both sides equally can helps to balance things out and prevent the horse from getting sore. It'll probably help you to balance too-- notice that if you've always mounted from the left, and you try to mount from the right, it feels 'wrong' and is more difficult! If you do it enough you'll get better and it will become just as natural as mounting from the 'correct' side.
Of course, most horses will need to be accustomed to right-side handling if they've been handled from the left all their life. Most horses are one-sided to begin with, so working from both sides can benefit them by helping to balance them out.
He's probably telling her one thing then tell you another. You know guys do lie. He is a loser, especially if he cheats with someone like that. I used to always tell my ex that if you cheat make sure it's worth while like a Victoria's Secret model or something. Your supposed to take a step up not a big leap down. He has no respect for you dump his ass. Ewww! He put his thing in that. I would never sleep with him again. And as far as the stalking, STAND UP for yourself! Tell that b***h to calm the f**k down and get a life.
I will add a big-dog “ditto” to much of what has been said by the comment-ors on this particular day. Looking forward to joining you on Friday morning for the meeting with the docs. Yes, Patty, Todd's written communication skills are above par to the nth degree. It has been that way since high school. In addition, when he is relaxed and feels “safe” to communicate (and has had the time to think things through) his verbal skills are outstanding as well. And to Linda — yes, I am learning so much as well, not only about CLL and transplants but also about trees and this 30-something generation. WOW — in some ways, I am really quite far removed from that group I guess. As far as those needles and how they do it, my experience was one that would not make the patient relish the next time. My memory tells me that the key was to get that “needle-nail” to rest firmly on the bone which is not a purely flat object/target. Hence, the rocking becomes necessary. The other skill comes in forcing it into the bone's core. My doc chose the John Wayne method where he joined me on top of the table (he left the saddle in the storage closet) and then added his 200lbs of body weight to force the needle into the bone. I did feel bad that he had to work up a sweat doing his job, but I imagine the paycheck for the procedure was worth the perspiration. And to those who noticed the “regular old Todd” peaking through this latest blog, we noticed it too and are pleased to see the recovery is progressing to that level. Enough for now, will catch up with the Palo Alto crowd (and some of the Sacramento crowd) this weekend. Back to work.
