How to get hard side-bags off of a Ducati ST4 motorcycle?

I can't really provide a ton of information, but there is usually a clamp on the motorcycle brands like gsxr, cbr, and gsx that I have had in my short time riding. The clamp is usually directly on the bottom and once un-clamped you can find a hex bolt or some type of bolt underneath. I don't know if this helps but I hope you get them off.

There is a chance of luggage getting lost or delayed, has happened to me numerous times (seems like about 40 % of the time either coming or going and once it took nearly 3 months to get one of the bags back). She can buy some tiny small containers and put some of her creams in those (about a half-ounce or so each) and label them and put them in a quart-size Ziploc bag in her carry on bag.
Kind of my current situation. I’ve ridden bikes with hard bags, large rear mounts for luggage, etc. – But I haven’t found that perfect ‘commuter bag’ just yet….

Or, there is a crazy cat with rabies and animal control comes and puts it in a sealed bag. They say "Let the cat out of the bag" telling that they've let something bad on the loose. Get it now?
