Bracket Kawasaki I am in the process of buying a 1998 Kawasaki zx-600, I am 4'11 can it be lowered? Asking price good deal?
Also.. The bike has 32,000 miles. The rear breaks do not work due to a missing break bracket, but the owner has ordered the part and has a mechanic that can put it on. There ar eno othe rmechanical problems and it has been dropped once..but with no damage. He is asking 900. Is this a good deal?
Yes that price is a good deal, the mileage is a little high for a sport bike but as long as it has been properly maintained it should be fine.
It would be best to have someone you know, that is familiar with motorcycles take a look at it, check the oil & coolant & make sure it dosent smoke on startup or during acceleration/deceleration (no blue or white smoke this is a classic sign of burning oil)
