I recently purchaed this bike(see attachment) and wanted to put saddle bags on it in the rear on both sides of the wheel. Is there a specific size I need or will any work.
What you want to watch for is to make sure your feet won't strike the bags (panniers is a common term; it's French for basket) as you pedal. Often this may be as simple as making sure the rack is able to hold the panniers far enough back to provide clearance.
This is often a trial and error exercise, so you may want to try this out with a local bike shop.

Looking for a joke hand for a saddlebag?
I've seen a couple bikes that have fake hands the hang inside the saddle bag. Looks like a body part. I wanted to get my step-dad one for Christmas and I can't find them anywhere! Can someone help me???
Any one that works for a car trunk should work for a saddlebag. Anyone who has one of these should also carry an ether cone in a subtle but noticeable location.
So is it muscle thats making them larger or fat? If it's fat, just run every day for a month to leg exercises. If it's muscle it's probably from soccer and if you continue soccer it's just going to continue to become more muscle. This kinda sounds bad but dont exercisers your muscles for a while and let them go down. But that will have an effect on your soccer playing… Your probably just built that way. Good luck!
First thing to do if you are a novice is to look for a course on how to ride a bike. Yes it sounds silly but it may save your life. Also besides doing it for safety and developing good bike habits the course will allow you to get the feel and balance for riding. Always ride safe to stay alive.
acutually running is good for that and yoga is really really for that esspecially if you do yoga in one of those steam rooms you can take a class in most gyms to do tht
I echo Mike, GO BJ GO. If I had more than a grand to my name B.J. I would be meeting you in Turkey. I truly admire you brother. It is possible that I will be back in SE Asia in the fall so I will let you know.
I do have some thoughts on gear though. Sorry if you thought if this already, but I cant help from posting. I am sure it can all be purchased in Turkey. Obviously where you will get your bike, saddle bags, extra tires, extra tubes, extra brake cables, extra brake pads, extra shifting cables, extra bike chains ( I am thinking 3 or 4), a bike pump, bike gloves and a bike helmet.
Other ideas:
1. A water filter like this one: It is not only more environmental than bottled water it will free you from the hassle of haggling for water or the proximity of which people sell water to your chosen path. 2. Iodine tablets in case that filter brakes 3. A camelback pack 3a: more water bottles, maybe 2 or 3 more. 4. Rehydration salts in case you lose all your water and have to ride for a while. 5. more rehydration salts 6. A crank brothers all purpose bike tool like this 6a. Maybe a good chain tool as well, even though those crank brothers tools have them, they are not as good as the individual chain tools. 7. A small (very small) pair of flat head and phillips head screw drivers. I know you have a set on your swiss army knife but you will need screw drivers that are skinny and have a long reach to get to certain screws on your bicycle. 8. A manual for bike maintenance. 9. Wax lubricant for up keep of your bicycle. 10. I would invest in clipless pedals to utilize your full length strength. And also comfortable riding shoes. pedals: shoes:
11. Iodine, gauze bandages, and medical tape, for a possible crash scenario. 12. Duck Tape, it can fix a lot. I know you will not need a whole roll so I would buy a roll, brake a pencil in half and rap what you think you may need around the broken pencil. 13. A nice winter hat for the Hindu Kush 14. A rag to wipe down your bike with and to help you get a grip on any part of your bike that may need maintenance. 15. Tent 16. A little portable gas burner for cooking food, extra gas tanks and some metal pots for cooking.
Sorry for the exhaustive list, I am sure you thought of all this but it never hurts to have a second opinion.
