Borg-Tech: how to make custom barrel/insert bag
Who thinks that the kids on NYC Prep is cool?
These kids seem unintelligent and they're ugly on top of it. I'm not saying this out of jealousy, I've got money too. Bravo is really scrapping the bottom of the barrel with this show. How about this douche bag that claims he "hooks up" with 12-16 chicks a month? Yeah right! What a homo. How about the 2 kids that see their parents once a week? Great parenting! These kids are going to be narrow minded their entire lives.
I think the people on that show watch a little bit too much Gossip Girl. Honestly, I know how it is to be a private school girl, they are not nearly as wealthy as many I know [and as I, myself, was formerly], "connections" don't help get into good colleges, and lastly, parents do not neglect children like that.
In my father's peak of his career, he was earning $20m annually and we had private jets [Hawker 800 and a Learjet], luxury cars [a BMW, a Mercedes-Benz, 3 Lexus', and a Rolls Royce Limo], three houses, and several staff [pilots, chefs, captains, housekeepers, nannies, in-house manager, wine specialist, party planner]. I know how it is to be wealthy and these people are not that. They think they are incredible because they go to a $25,000 tuition school -- so do I, hun.
They think they are "all that," they think that everyone should know their names, but they aren't. They are just average private school kids who think they are really popular. And I agree, the blonde one is really ugly, but PC is hot though. They are just average kids. Some are ugly, some are not.
Also, it's tough to get into Ivy League Colleges, with or without connections. When that blonde girl was talking about how she wanted to get into a great college without help, that was BS, she had been watching too much Gossip Girl. Good colleges will not accept you if you are not smart. Bottom line. And another thing, private school is NOT all about sex! Friends come first, followed by colleges, grades, sports, community service, and family.
They need to realize that they DON'T live a fantasy and they need to stop pretending that they're amazing, because they're not. -Catherine
When I was in the service, we were trained to use the "minimum force necessary to ensure compliance". Of course, that also means the minimum force necessary to keep from getting injured, and to keep your boarding party from getting injured.
Maybe you don't realize this, but by the time the situation has escalated to the point where weapons must be used, the officer does not have time to return to his vehicle to retrieve a different firearm. That's why we're trained to be able to make non-lethal shots with real live ammo.
Actually, for an officer that has a shotgun in car to begin with, it's only the cost of the less-than-lethal munitions of choice. There's rubber slugs, rubber shot, multiple beanbag configurations, and Lightfield came out with miniature 'Koosh' toy style projectiles. The only drawback is that these projectiles have to deliver a great deal of force without penetrating, or they may become lethal. A single type of projectile is usually only rated for a certain range of ranges. Some beanbags are lethal at less than 10m, while some other types of shells are ineffective below 7m.
Many police departments do, but in some places they're restricted from less-than-lethal force, due to the fact that tasers and beanbags are not completely non-lethal. There have been a handful of incidents where someone dies or is seriously injured after being incapacitated. In places like these, police have fewer options, so, unfortunately, when physical force is no longer enough, they have to move to the threat of lethal force. I'm fairly certain that more civilians, as well as police, have died from not having less-than-lethal munitions available than those that have died having it there.
Also: JD does, in fact, have issues. After being an armorer for Benelli and Beretta, and being familiar with the 1201FP, he said that no parts whatsoever would interchange. So I replaced the stock, rebuilt the trigger group, and got a set of XM1014 ghost ring sights for it. I see a lot of bad answers on his other questions, too. I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of thumbs down for this, since he has such a nice list of sources, and nobody would possibly lie over the internet.
oooh oooh oooh! I love em. Don't suppose my boys will be wanting a pair though, they'd just look at me like I'm a weird thing from planet weird.
At the moment what I really need to do is sew a 'barrel bag' with a drawstring top to stuff a double duvet into. Don't suppose you can point me to any tutorials that might help…

Nope. the bag isn't fake. but you are.
If I'm not mistaken, your little nugget is a man after my own heart and he's hanging out by the Crate & Barrel bag in the top left of the 3rd picture.

They already have non-lethal weapons that are used during certain incidents and circumstances.*
