Bell Custom 500 Helmet Throwbacks and retro lids are nice, but nothing beats an original. Back in 1954 Bell founder Roy Richter formed his first helmet out of fiberglass and named it the “500.” That moment was ground zero for the modern motorsport helmet and it gave rise to an entire industry. Bell’s new Custom 500 pays homage to Richter’s original design and adds modern protective technology to bring the design up-to-date while still keeping the original’s aesthetic. By combining a custom fiberglass layup with a specially designed EPS foam layer, Bell engineers were able to craft a helmet that is at once light weight, narrow in profile, and DOT-compliant. Adding custom paint-inspired graphics, chrome trim work (on some graphics) and a quilted liner, the new Custom 500 custom looks as good as it performs. Features: Custom fiberglass shell Custom-quilted liner Chrome trim (graphic dependent) Integrated snaps for aftermarket shields and visors Padded chin strap with D-ring closure and strap keeper Five-year warranty Certification: DOT Weight: 880g Read the MotorcycleUSA.com review of the Bell Custom 500 Stunt Helmet here: Bell Custom 500 Stunt Helmet Review

bagged custom ride
muscle car or bagged truck?
what is the better choice a 1972 chevy nova that is not completly restored and needs alot of work or a custom bagged pickup truck that completly finished and is cheaper. which one would be more noticable. and which one would stand out in a crowd.
the nova
its not finished but trust me on this when its finished it will be worth 2-3 times as much as the truck, plus if you get a truck use the truck for what they were made for, not bagging it to the ground where your scared to go over a little bump, if you want something lowered just lower the nova a little and still have it be able to smoke all the little ricers off the road, its really nothing wrong with lowering a 2wd truck if thats what you like but my personal opinion i never cared for it, plus you'll get more looks with a nova than a bagged truck from both teens and older people, bagged truck will just appeal to teens, plus trust me the bagged truck will attract the cops more than a nova, cops will admire the nova but cops will write a ticket to the bagged truck while they'll give someone in a nova a break if its not that major
now you get what you want but you did come on here to ask for opinions and i gave you mine

Don't worry about "hurting" your present company. You state that they are wonderful, but believe me, if things got to the point of layoffs, they wouldn't think twice about letting you go Plus, from how you are describing your current work, it won't be too long before your employer notices your lack of enthusiasm and decline of performance and let you go anyways.

MichaelF herehey why is it so hard to get a vacuum bagged custom board in CA, looks really cool. In rowing we have been vacuum bagging and using carbon for 20 years… I like the fish concept and interested see how this would work on a TUNA in the 240-260 class like myself.
