GEAR BAG SALE (GUNS, TANKS,AND INVERT MINI SET-UP)(EVERYTHING IS GONE!!!)
HELP!! is this normal i just floated the bag of my betta in my un cycled tank?
i decied to use him to cycle hes not gasping for air or anything but hes staying at the top of the tank is this normal and its a 10 gallon tank should i turn the light of or what should i do
Don't worry so much. A little betta in a 10 gallon tank will cause such a small ammonia spike that you probably won't even be able to measure it. If you want to play it safe, buy a test for ammonia and test for it every day. If you notice it start to crawl up past .5, change a third of the water.
In the mean time, go back to the fish store and ask them for a handful of gravel from one of their mature tanks (ask them to bag it for you) and then put this into your filter - you will be introducing live bacteria and won't need to worry about the cycle at all. A fishless cycle, or exposing the fish to toxins, is kind of pointless when you can just bypass the cycle altogether by doing this (and the method is virtually flawless).
I would not make a habit of doing drugs. Because you can lead to many problems. Either getting busted by police. Or even worse getting killed because of a drug overdose. Drugs become addiction after a while. So next time dont think about using.
How is going Mark?Thank you for you Question,I will try to keep this Simple (I tend to go on&on sometimes.). I know you live in Lincoln,Nebraska so that narrow's things down some. Really Man,the most ugly boring road's can be beautiful, so much depends on where your head is ,stress and attitude, the other is the Lighting of the day.Quick example, I was riding across eastern Colorado in a very intense Thunder and lightening storm,it was raining fairly hard and steady. It was in the evening and the Sun was setting in the west shining so perfectly under the storm and dark cloud cover,It was incredibly beautiful,Everything had a reddishness about it and all colors were super intense and sharp and clear. It was very surreal. I think they call it “Dramatic Lighting”,I ride alot and have only witnessed this type of lighting maybe a handful of times. It was one of my most memorible rides, that's, in ugly, boring old Eastren Colorado.Light seems to be key(in more ways then one) . Traveling on a scenic road in the right light well,it just don't get any better. Here are some nice roads that run through the “Great Nebraska Sandhills”,Hwy 2,Hwy 11,Hwy 281 North out of Grand Island,NE., Hwy 83 north out of Thedford,NE. ,Hwy 183, Hwy 40 North out of Kearney,Ne. to just South of Callaway,Ne. Hwy 21 from Lexington,NE to Broken Bow.There are some really excellent secondary paved roads a Rider could explore in the Broken Bow,Sargent,Anselmo,Arnold,Merna area.Hwy 97 North out of Mullen to Valentine,Ne. is reall nice.If you happen to be riding on Hwy 92 between Tryon and Arthur,Ne there is a un-marked road that runs n&s to Whitman I plan on Riding this summer.(Look at your map,it runs by Three Mile Lake). There is an other I want to Ride, it runs from just East of Ashby Ne,on Hwy 2 south of the Cresent Lake Wildlife Refuge then turns back north past Cresent Lake to just East of Lakeside,Ne..Hwy 27,Hwy 250,Hwy 61.Don”t be afraid to Explore some of Nebraska's secondary roads, just plan a little ahead and top off your tankwhen Exploring and maybe carry alittle extra fuel with you.You can get those small Aluminum bottles at any Backpack store, probably at Wal-mart too that is safe to carry Gas.They don't take up much room in the saddle bag or Tank Bag,it beats walking to get gas in the middle of nowhere. I hope this gives you something to look at for future trips through Beautiful Nebraska.See I just can't keep the Motorcycle talk to a minimum. It's what I do,It's my Passion! I'm pretty sure that's a paper bag, not a tank.
