i am getting married in 5 months and i need to get rid of these saddle bags on my thighs to look nice in my form fitting dress! can spinning classes help or what else would you recommend? right now i am doing an hour of cardio (treadmill) 2 to 4 days a week. 15 to 18 minutes running, the rest of the time walking at 4.2)
Cycling might be more enjoyable since you are only running 15 to 18 minutes. Sorry walking is not cardio you need to step it up. Cycling is not going to help much either unless you put some effort into it. Just cycling at an easy pace is not going to do it either. You want to pedal at a high cadence about 70-90 rpm with lite pressure on the pedals. that will use fat as fuel and your legs wont get tired as quickly. You want a pace that increases you breathing enough to where you can still talk but not sing (that's cardio) 45-60 min
Depending on the effort, you can reach your goal in two months. Of coarse diet will play a major factor in it also.
Spinning classes will help but you need to do something 5 or 6 times a week.
