is it legal to have a rear facing car-seat in a single cab light duty truck with the passenger air bag off?
My girlfriend is about to start school again leaving me to pick our son up from daycare and i just wanted to ask is it legal to even have a rear facing carseat in a light duty single cab truck
Each state is different. Contact your local authorities and ask them. Reversing the car seat, facing the rear, is not stupid, so the child is not facing the windshield. Some child restraining seats are designed to not face forward.
Turning off the air bag is a definitely a good idea. Those things can kill a child in a car seat.
