bag Lid any idea on how to clear up the water on my 40gal tank?
i have a plecostamus, 3 baby fantails, a comet, a shibunkin, 2 baby butterfly koi, 2 algae shrimp, a snail and a driftwood shrimp in my tank. i do 10% water changes once a week and 25% water changes once a month and clean the filter weekly, but the water is still murky. i know my tank isnt overcrowded and i know that goldfish breeds have high waste levels, but i was wondering if there was any better way to clear up the water. the filtration system is incorporated into the lid and i use a ammo carb in a bag for extra filtration, but even thats not working. anything helps. thanks!
Your biggest problem is the crowding, you need to get some of those fish out. Goldfish are very hard on a filter and require a lot of space, any one of those fish is about all you should have in 40 gallons. Koi get HUGE and are awful on water quality. What happens is simple, you need to have a measure of bacteria that are good, and you cleaning your filter so often is keeping them from developing. I would get a second filter with a biobag, and run it constantly, the other thing is the algae eater.
What is causing your water to get cloudy is an abundance of cianobacteria, not algae. You need to get filter feeders to get rid of that, good filter feeders are clams.
The number of fish and the type of fish you have should easily be in 200 gallons of water or a pond where there is a good bio filtration level. A forty gallon tank seems large but a full grown fantail needs 20 gallons of water, a full grown comet needs at least 40, shubunkin 50 to 100 gallons of water, koi of any kind need ponds as the will destroy aquariums. Algae shrimp need about a square foot of bottom space each, same with driftwood shrimp and depending on the snail, some of them need upwards of ten gallons, when you total that you are looking at a HUGE tank.
The only thing you can do is big water changes frequently, but that is stressing your fish and holding back your bio cycle. Honestly you just have way to much and nothing you are going to do is going to clear that water up any time soon if you keep all those fish. Best thing you can do is sell them back and rebalance your tank, or upgrade to a much larger tank.

How To Hide Puffy Under Eyes and Apply Makeup To Hooded Eye Lids
I wanted to thank you for this great I definitely loved every little bit of it. I have you bookmarked your web site to check out the latest stuff you post.
Great blog! I really love how it is easy on my eyes as well as the info is well written. I am wondering how I may be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your rss feed which should do the trick! Have a nice day!
I know this is really boring and you are skipping to the next comment, but I just wanted to throw you a big thanks – you cleared up some things for me!
Good luck getting people behind this one. Though you make some VERY fascinating points, youre going to need to do more than bring up a few things that may be different than what weve already heard. What are trying to say here? What do you want us to believe? It seems like you cant really get behind a unique thought. Anyway, thats just my opinion.
When choosing butters, your best options are unsaturated butters: monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. colon cleansing can help remove fats from your body. These fats, if used in place of others, can lower your risk of heart disease by reducing the total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in your blood.
If you are in not good state and have no cash to go out from that, you will have to receive the personal loans. Because that will aid you for sure. I get car loan every year and feel good just because of this.
Substantially, the post is actually the best on this worthy topic. I agree with your views and look forward to your future posts. I’m signing up to your rss feed to stay abreast of any updates. Insightful work and much success with your blog!
I'm a guy, so can't answer the make-up questions. But I have the same color eyes (green and then brown in the center around the pupil). My mom tells me when I wear something green, my eyes look more green. Same thing if I wear brown — they look more brown. So wear a lot of green. It's not a tremendous difference, but hope it helps enough.
Shouldn't a solid waste provider the size of PMUA should be more competitive than any other in the area? No one wants anyone to lose their job. Let us also not forget the face of the other 12,000 residents who are now on the hook because of PMUA's excessive spending.
I was at the meeting and saw many non-employees. I estimated about 200 people including those standing and lining the hallway. Are you saying that 120 people at the meeting were PMUA employees?
———- Recommendations for PMUA to cut costs: * Don't pay someone to “follow” workers to make sure they are doing their jobs. If they aren't doing their jobs, you will get calls from residents saying that their garbage wasn't picked up.
* Is it the bag or the weight? Stop billing people for an extra bag or lid not closed! If you see someone abuse it, deal with them directly not by imposing a $30 extra bag fee. Many residents don't even put out garbage twice a week and then when they are sent a picture with an extra bag fee it's frustrating.
* Stop mailing 8 page color newsletters to homes. It's costly and adds additional paper to the environment.
* Use the water bill from winter months in your calculation of sewer charges. Not all of the water use goes to the sewer system.
* Have bulky waste as separate service (many of my neighbors pay for it but never use it); Allow people to schedule it outside of a three hour window.
* Reduce transfer station rates so you can attract other towns or waste providers (most just go to Rahway or Elizabeth because your rates are high)
* This is not a cost cutting suggestion but one for PR and CS – Respond to your customers/residents – Do not ignore us.
* Limit board of commissioner and executive expense accounts
* Use mileage reimbursement for employees when they need to go to training rather than lease other vehicles.
okay well it sounds like your allergic stop using this stuff and moisturize your face .. try a firming cream on your eyes or putting on cold spoons to reduce puffiness wear foundation and eye make up you shouldnt put any cleaners on your eyes since they are delicate just moisterize and dont touch them there isnt much you can do but i hope this helps:) sorry about your eyes:(
