What is the most comfortable book bag for carrying heavy books? (for college)?
i dont care about the look.. but im currently using a jansport but it doesnt help with the pressure on my back and shoulders. i have a small frame, and im looking for a bookbag that will equal out the weight.. and basically help carrying heavy books across campus. do you guys recommend anything
I was going to recommend a Jansport bag called "Big Student", however since you have trouble with them you might look into book bags that are made for hiking. Sorry if that is not as helpful. I was so excited to answer because I love my book bag.
I read your question, and since you said any feedback is good, I hope you don't mind if my answer isn't about the law… tho I'm sure someone will answer with legal info,.
Can you put her stuff in a 3 month storage, mail her the key and tell her that you are no longer responsible for it?? The 3 months would give her time to find alternative storage. that way, it is no longer your responsibility. Make it clear that after 3 months it will be up to the storage facility to dispose of it. You won't pay for a fourth month.
What do you think about this? I hope it helps…. she might be in your life forever and it might be best to find a way to keep it out of the garbage.
I echo your Brompton experience. I’ve loaded it up with a fairly creative assortment of cargo, including lawn signs for Madison’s August Ride the Drive with Lance. I have an extra bag frame that I use mostly with my Carradice bag, but strap odds and ends to it at times. It’s quite the little trooper.
Call her up, leave messages telling her that she has ___ days/weeks to deal with the stuff or you're going to throw it away. After leaving those messages for 2/3 days, toss it. If I were you, I'd sell it, because if you get rid of it, you're never gonna get that $1,500.
What you have is called a bailment, and what that means is you have to use ordinary care for her property. If you know where she is, I suggest the following: send her a certified letter, in which you state that you are giving her a period of time to collect her stuff, 30 days is usually allowed, at the end of which time you will begin charging storage at a rate she would pay for a comparably sized space in a mini storage. That is almost certain to get her attention. If it doesnt, well the unfortunate fact of this situation is that there is a recognized legal duty in such cases to care for property left behind until such time as it is found to be abandoned. Even then, usual practice is to have a sale and use the proceeds to defray your cost in storing the stuff and loss of use of that part of your hime.

You'll probably become a loser when you grow up.
